Christmas in the City 2014

“I just wanted to say that I thought last night's concert was one of the best ever. The quality of the music performed by the children and young people was outstanding.” – (City school Headteacher)

"I wish my Youth Orchestra was like that when I was younger. Their musicality, the broad range of instruments and diversity of music... the tribute to the centenary to World War 1 was very well and sensitively framed.” (Arts Council England representative)

“It was a joy to see [my daughter] having fun and looking like she was really enjoying playing and knew what she was doing!” (Parent)

“The quality of the singers and musicians was incredible as was the energy and passion of all of the staff” (City school Headteacher)

"I’m so thrilled to hear [the area band/In Harmony] progress in the last year. The experience of playing with older young people and the professional ensemble was one that I’m sure they won’t forget.” (Arts Council England representative)

“So well put together. Fun, poignant and funky.” (Parent)

“What an amazing night! […] Nottingham Music School is a fantastic place for young people to express their musical talents. My two children love it!” (Parent)
